Chapel Hill earns a spot on the  National Trust For Historic Preservation’s 2011 Distinctive Destinations list.  This North Carolina town joins 11 other US cities and towns recognized as places that “offer an authentic visitor experience by combining dynamic downtowns, cultural diversity, attractive architecture, cultural landscapes and a strong commitment to historic preservation, sustainability and revitalization”.

You may vote for your favorite  destination via the National Trust For Historic Preservation website.  Being partial to the Southern part of heaven, I urge to you to cast your vote for Chapel Hill!   Read more at www.preservationnation.org.

This is a re-sale store serving both the Habitat for Humanity organizations in Orange and Durham Counties of North Carolina. I have been encouraging homeowners and clients to donate their reusable items (cabinets, fixtures, sinks, toilets, mirrors, lumber, building materials etc.) leftover from handyman, remodel and renovation projects for several years now. Now Habitat has much larger space to serve the community.
